Dustin Brown - 2 polls in one (take 2)

Ok, what do you see in Brown's future :

question 1 : in terms of production and utilisation

question 2 : in comparaison to Frolov's production

that is, in 4-5 years and beyond

Thx

(and thx to Death for pointing out my mistake so fast)

Death has a funny way of doing that... especially when your mistake is playing with nitroglycerin (*evil laugh*)

Re-post: I say he's about 65 points ayear and will have lower production than Frolov. Brown is a Deadmarsh clone. Goes to the net and goes hard and will crash his way to 60-65 points a year.

agreed. i dont think he'll put up that many points to beat frolov, but he brings many intangibles that frolov won't. in addition, not sure of brown is first line material, but i can see a team like the kings using him as a first liner (ie deadmarsh). frolov may turn out to be the "best" player in the end, but i think brown will turn out ot be the favorite.

Ok, this poll made me re-acquire Frolov in my fantasy league. It's a keeper in which older players are really hard to keep. I overpaid a little ( ), but it will be, I hope, for the better, long-term...

Trade was : Forsberg-Stuart for Frolov-Kolstov

(I'm first this year and will finish first unless I get really bad lucky)

D. Brown

Love his enthusiasm, and his effort, drawing penalties as a rookie can be hard but he's drawn a few this year already.

Ultimately he will be a top 6 forward moving between the 1st and 2nd lines. He will be a player that goes through some streaks, especially year to year. I also see him as a player that will thrive in 5 or 6 years in the Playoffs. Gritty with great hands.
He kind of reminds a little of Bertuzzi and definitely Deadmarsh.

He is so young, I hope he keeps his head on straight.
He won't put up the kind of numbers as frolov, but he will contribute a lot to the scoring even if he's not getting the goals or assists. He will set up in front of the net and create traffic and screens that will lead to goals. He will score a lot of his goals on rebounds and deflections.
A lot of upside !!!!!
