This flames squad has shown that they can score in bunches so its still possible for the flames to pull this one out.Just Keeping the faith. On the other hand i could see the canucks starting the trap from here on out.

Alex Tanguay...wow what a pass. I suppose I've been wrong about him the whole time he was with Colorado....he's already better than Gagne

I am sorry for asking a question I am sure you have answered before but what does the number 3O behind the nets represent?

Mike Vernon. His jersey will be retired on Feb. 6th.

Awsome game, lets keep it going Conroy and Hus.

Gotta give props to the refs calling those early two goalie interference calls. Seemed to be a lot less "accidental bumping" into the goalies tonight. Also, no more than 2 questionable penalties. Good game by all 3 sides.

The edge in play was considerable, but the Nucks managed to make it close. That is another monkey off their back.

Let's see -

Nucks streak ends - check

Powerplay improves - check

Penalty kill improves - semi check

Flames win on road - hmm, not so much.

More work to do boys but you are getting there.

This win is so sweet considering how much the Canucks fans have been *****ing about how Luongo is better than Kipper, and that they've beaten us 4 straight, and how they were going to be first in the NW once the game was done.

The thing is Kipper didn't play a good game tonight. I thought Luongo outplayed him for the most of the game. Good Game guys, you deserve this win, the canucks maybe played a good 15 minutes.. Hopefully you guys taught the canucks a lesson.

Good Game boys!

I agree, Luongo outperformed Kipper, but still, Kipper got the win.

You have to admit, things could have been worse for Luongo - there were a few goal posts involved there too.

the best part about the win is the silence coming from the canuck trolls hiding in their corners. great game tonight, cause we won, but mostly just an all-around fun game to watch. these canuck games are getting better then the oilers games, although the last oiler game was good too.

think calgary can handle two huge rivalries. bring it on!

Yeah i do admit that, but hey Good goalies get bounces sometimes. If it weren't for Luongo, calgary could probably enter the third period with a two goal lead. Good game overall for the flames and you guys are looking really good with those two good scoring lines.

Exciting game guys. Congratulations on the win, and the division title (for now.) We played a pretty bad 2nd period, and you guys capatalized, so kudos for that. Huselius really seems to be on a roll right now, I can see that Iguinla and Conroy are starting to re-form some chemistry. The ending to the game was pretty wild, and I have to say, I was smacking my head after one of the Sedins missed the open net. Overall this was an exciting game, and I look forward to the next one.

Once again congratulations on taking the lead for the division title, although I don't think it'll last, so enjoy it while you can!!!

I didn't mention, thanks for showing up with a little class. Some of the guys that come over here, aren't so respectful. Believe me, I was scared after that first period that we were gonna be invaded by trolls looking to crow.
