The Sbohnksonov Line...

So what do you guys think....
(btw way i've had that line on my NHL 2K7 since i start the season around october cause i though it was an upgraded version of the PBJ line and sammy, bonk and johnson are 3rd 5th and 6th respectively in points in my season)

I've wanted for this combination to happen for awhile...sammy seems so much more confident cause he's not affraid to make a mistake...and i still stand that sammy has been trying hard most season just hasent had any luck

to me it's a great line that has everything...speed, defense, crashing the net, reliable, maybe not grit so much but they get by allright and as somebody had mention 3 past 60 point players so there is potential

so what about you guys? ready to give sammy another chance?

I've always wanted to give Sammy another chance. Like you said, he is playing well and is controlling the play when he has the puck, it's just the bounces are not going his way, and I feel bad for him because he is taking a lot of heat. Granted it's taken him long enough to get it going, but even Bob said it would take a while, plus he was never with the right linemates. I can't wait until playoff time, I'm thinking he will tear it up. Not only that, but this will be the second best 3rd line in the East (next to Buffalo), which says a lot about Montreal's depth.

I like Samsonov, it's just frustrating to watch him make 15 moves and without a single shot on net. It's unbelievable.
This Samsonov-Bonk-Johnson line is performing well though, and until something happens on the first two lines, they should be getting "1st line" minutes.

Bonk is a freakin magician. He made Johnson a decent player. And now Sammy looks like a million bucks. He's more focused, he's doing everything right. He's circling a lot less. Who would have thought.

Not to take anything away from Bonk, but Johnson was already "a decent player."

Bonk is playing some red-hot hockey since his second child was born! I guess miss Bonk likes it here and he wants to stay.

Bonk was probably stressed about his wife's pregnancy. You know, those guys are human, like us, except some posters..

Well these 3 guys all played on the first line at least one season. They all got a +60 points season. No doubt that they all have skill but without PP time and 11-12 ES minutes its not too easy to score on a regular basis but right now they are by far our best line!

You look at these guys' offensive stats over their career, and for all that it's being called a third line, they'd make a very credible second line.

the thing with samsonov is that if he has a good open shot, he will prolly score...in order to give him that open shot, we need a good centerman....forssssssssssssssssssssbbbbbbbbbbbbbb bbbbberg
