what rest? There is no "rest of the tickets." There might be the 500 tickets or so that are held until later because of NHL rules and stuff, but the Caps sold every ticket they had through the presale. There also might be club level seats.

I don't believe that is true, I think a limited number were available on presale. I could be mistaken though.

I got that one too. The buffet wasn't all that impressive, I have a hat and rally towel and have unlimited beer, wine and soda at my house.

I'll stick with my seats in 118.

If you think fans of any New York franchise don't know to check for available tickets for the away games then you're fooling yourself. Do you think we enjoy paying $100 for the farthest section in the arena when that same price often gets you a much, much better seat in other stadiums? Sorry, but it was never a secret. I can assure you that as soon as any NY fan was done buying tickets at the Garden they immediately started checking what was available at the Verizon center.

Anyway, looking forward to a great series.

I thought the new ticket drop was for STH and PPH only...at least that's what my official email said.

First time at Verizon Center on 4/18 - request info

Greetings.

Kings fan here.

I am in DC and got tix to the Capitals and Rangers game on 4/18. Will be actively rooting against the Rangers.

Any tips on parking you can give? Best concessions or eating spots? I will be at the Club seating level. Do they have waitresses on that level (can't seem to find out this info)? Is it legal to smack Ranger fans or is that frowned upon?

food, parking and other info. you want to skim through this thread

Club and waitress service - not any more

Parking varies - garages run from 10-25 depending on location; outdoor lots on the weekends 5-15; not sure about the meters in that area on Saturday afternoons

From my experience on the club level, pretty much any food you eat there is going to be far superior in quality compared to the floors above and below.

Hmm, every time i've been on club level, i haven't been impressed with the food. Yeah, they have a bigger selection, but i think there's something psychological going on with me. Since the club level food is supposed to be better, it doesn't taste that great. Compare this with the other level food, which is "stadium food" and is supposed to taste like ass, but for stadium food it's pretty good.

... if any of that makes sense..

In any case, it's really hard to go wrong with the food at VC. Unless you get the "Papa John's" pizza. That **** is terrible...

Welcome.
You've come a long distance to watch hockey. Thought the LA crowd preferred watching video. Or maybe that's restricted to DL?

I think you will be in for a treat at the Verizon Centre. The crowd knows how to rock. Recommend you take the Metro if you are near a station. Otherwise leave enough time to find parking if you want to take in the warm up.

Congrats that Phoenix got those two points. Perhaps the lottery may go LA's way.
