I couldn't find a ticket thread so I figured I'd start a new post, I'm sorry if there already is one.
We (4 of us) can't make the trip down to DC tonight, so I'm gonna have to sell my tickets. We have a pair in Section 412 Row K and another pair in Section 115 Row W.
We're hoping to get back what we paid for them,I can email them to you if you have PayPal. Please email me (foberto_1999@yahoo.com) with offers if you are interested, thanks...
I can't find where to purchase tickets. Ticketmaster only offers a presale, and cannot find anything on the Caps site.
What outlet do the Capitals use to make their tickets available for sale?
Thanks!
Good luck....they typically release some to season ticket holders a day or so before the game, but it's slim pickings. You're probably going to have to go through one of the resale outlets.

I was hoping some would go on sale after the game. I've been sitting here on ticketmaster all morning hoping a few uppers would go on sale. I've been to 9 games this year and have only been able to go to two of them for face value. I know its all delusions of grandeur to think I can get playoff tickets against the Pens for face, but you can't blame a guy for trying - in this economy.

If it's like the first round, STH should get an email with a password and time for the tickets to go on sale, with a 2 ticket limit. Once they're gone, they'll only drop more IF any are returned to the Caps from the Pens, NHL, sponsors, etc. Mostly they only have singles, even during the initial drop.
AND FOR THE LOVE OF GOD PEOPLE, IF YOU HAVE A PASSWORD, PLEASE, PLEASE, DO NOT SHARE THE PASSWORD WITH ANYONE.
I'll most likely have two tickets in 431 available for either Saturday or Monday. I'll be asking face value ($48 each, I believe, I'll have to double check when I get home), and I'd rather sell to a diehard fan than some friends who only have a passing interest in the team. I'll keep you posted.

You do realize the first 2 games are Sat and Mon...
Im from Long Island and some of my buddies and I plan on driving down to DC for Game 5 against the Pens. We would love to see the Caps kick Crosby's butt. Any idea when Ticketmaster will be putting the game 5 tickets on sale?
Just got two tickets for game 1 for $151. I'm so psyched!
I'll be wearing my "cry baby" penguins player jersey shirt and my caps hat.
EDIT: I just received the email that included my e-tickets, but they are just a scan of the actual tickets, not the usual e-tickets. Has anyone done this before? Seems kind of sketchy, but the seller had over 450 feedback on ebay and they responded to me very fast.

It's Rock the Red. Rock Your Red was NJ's slogan last post season.
oh thank you for completely wasting my time. its the same exact thing. the red, implying a red piece of merchandise you own or will own. your red, possessive red as in a red piece of merchandise you already own

lol? He was just trying to be helpful and make sure you don't grab a sign that says the wrong thing...not that anyone would likely notice if it's in Russian, but still.

I'm sorry. If you want people to think you are cheering on the Devils in the future, I will go ahead and let you confuse them.
