Key Match-Ups

vs.

Mike Ryder and Eric Staal, two of the league's premier rookies.

Habs Game Thoughts
 • After kicking away 35 shots, how does Jose handle a back to back start? Expect Jamie Storr to play in search of his first win this year for the Hurricanes.
 • Pierre Dagenais has been on the decline lately, does the gigantic winger still have a reserved spot with Ribeiro?
 • Mike Komisarek was, unfortunately, a healthy scratch last night. Will he play tonight?
 • With Joe Juneau missing last nights game in Carolina due to back spasms, and Steve Begin filling in admirably, do you expect to see Julien reinsert Juneau, assuming he's healthy?

Who to Watch For

They will probably keep the same lines as yesterday, that means Bulis-Ribs-Dagenais as the 2nd and Langdon-Perreault-Kilger as the 4th....

Should be a very interesting game, with all the hitting and fighting we saw last night.

I hope Markov will rebound from last night horrible performance. He wasn't able to do anything with or without the puck. Don't get me wrong though, I usually like Markov very much......

I also hope Juneau won't play, I think the third line is way more effective with Begin as the center, and I like the second line with Bulis instead of Perreault.

Let's also pray (I got tired of hoping) that the crowd won't boo Rivet. Even if he is not having his best season, he is still an effective defender, IMO......

That would anger me. Komisarek should not sitting for duds like Rivet, Quintal, and Bouillon (nice pass yesterday, numbnuts)

I'll be at the game, a friend gave us (gf and I) two tickets "dans les rouges". It's been a while since I saw a NHL game from anywhere else than the roof!

2-0 Habs

3-1 Habs. They'll be pumped in front of the home crowd and play with emotion.

Any word on the lines yet?

No. It's Theo according to RDS. No word on the Canes, but I'll watch the pregame (@ 6:30) on RDS to get the lineup and the opposition goalie.

What are you talking about? You're both stupid! It was his girlfriend who was pregant!

I guess Bulis will take his spot on the first line.

I certainly hope so. If there's any player on their team who deserves a chance on the first line, it's Bulis. I really want to see what he can do with Koivu.
