Draft Picks Signed

So, we've signed Irving, Ryder and Watt but no mention of either Pelech or Baldwin yet. For a system thin on defencemen what are we waiting on. When healthy Pelech is very good and worthy of being signed.

That was a weaker draft year. I know Sutter isn't giving up on them, but l'm not overly excited about the chances for either of them. He'll probably sign them last minute.

Well, Pelech just copped a suspension in the OHL didn't he?

That should give him and Sutter some time to sit down and sign a contract.

He did just receive a 6 game suspension after beating on a an opponent after he took an elbow to the beak.
He has played very well for the Bulls and logs a lot of ice time on Pk and reg. Has definitely been the work horse on the back end.He does tend to take too many cross checking penalties now I don't know if this is because he is 6'4.5" and the forwards coming at him in the corners are smaller. Has layed out some nice open ice hits this year also definitely not afraid to use the body.At the OHL all-star game he finished second in hardest shot with I believe it was 96-97 miles/hour.

Gord Baldwin's had a tough start to the season. He had a lacklustre first half, but was also injured for a period of time. He's playing well recently. Sometimes it takes him a while to adjust. I think adding some muscle and boxing training, could help him out alot in the offseason with co-ordination and balance

Will he make it to the show? anythings possible but he still needs to improve a lot more if he wants to make it.
