Turning hate into love!

I was at the Sens VS Leafs game on saturday.
To my left were drunk leafs fans. To my right were more Leafs fans. Behind me were Leafs fans. In front of my were Sens fans. Wow, there was so much tension, it was amazing. People were swearing at each other, wanting to fight, taunting, etc.. The drunk Leafs fan next to me almost got kicked out for swearing too much at Sens fans and going overboard. I was tired of it! I had enough.
With 5 minutes left in the third period, I yelled out "Guys, no matter what the outcome of the game is, it's a good game and we're all having a good time.. and we'll all still be friends at the end."
Then people started apologizing to each other, shaking hands, high fiving each other! Sens and Leafs fans were getting along! I shook hands with the drunk Leafs fan next to me. It was pretty cool!

ok sorry, that was a crappy story!

clowns to the left of me, jokers to the right , here i am .. stuck in the middle with you

Has there ever been a real fan fight, i mean a real rumble you know, like warriors, come out to plaa-ay, between Sens and leaf fans? Surely not in Ottawa anyway.

Not between Sens and Leafs fans I think, but I do remember Domi punching a fan in Philly while in the penalty box. Also, from what I have heard, I remember there was a lot of fighting between Sabres and Philly fans during last years playoffs, specifically at the Wachovia Center. Bottomline, Philapdelphia fans are aggressive and annoying as hell.

SpezzaFanatic has.

And a drunk Bolts fan tried to fight me because I wouldn't let him kiss me. I would have taken him if security didn't like LEAP OVER THE SEAT AND GRAB HIM.

I've seen a couple beers spilled on people's heads... wasn't taken too well.

I go to the ACC and am real obnoxious, even rattling the glass, but noone really gives me any kind of hard time. ... I have to assume that Leafs fans are *******

or they all expect to lose at this point and deal with it.

One time, I have to point out I've sat front row a few times for what I'm about to say to have context and hence why I've been known to rattle the glass on several occasions after a(many) Sens goal, a Leaf player took a slap shot and hit the glass directly where I was sitting. This was after about 3 Sens goals where I was banging on that glass for all my life. Then he had this big grin. Now while it's possible he wasn't aiming at me, there really wasn't much reason for what he did since I don't sit behind the net, I sit along the side near the top of the blue line and he was just inside the blue line in the center. Goddammit, you ain't gonna tell me he wasn't, I say I got to the Leafs, and am damned proud.

... I'm not that obnoxious a person, even at hockey games at the ACC. I prefer to use tools of sarcasm and stalkerish information. I wish I could be more obnoxious.

Habs fan here. I droped my ice cream on a Sens fan Jersey once (well I didn't drop it, it just fell off the stick).

Guy turns around and looks at me, I apologize. He turns back to watch the game with a grin on his face. I turn to my friend (trentmccleary) and say out loud. "bahhh, it's only a Sens jersey"

Trent laughs. The other guy shuts up.

The funny part is that trentmccleary laughed. The sad part is that the ice cream cost me 5$
