Orr is useless, Callahan or someone else should get his icetime. At least with Callahan or someone else u can roll 4 lines. I have not seen anything of Orr. Hollweg should have been in the lineup.

Honestly..try to think of one team who is trading for a player without ONE SINGLE POINT!

2-1 NJ, look for a 3rd period meltdown by NY

How old is Brodeur?

I can't wait until he retires. The devils will be at the bottom of the league.

Better yet, I hope he suffers a career ending injury next period.

Basic simple crap and he can't even cover his guy. Unreal! This guy certainly forgot to pack his game from Carolina to come here this year. What a huge bust.

When the team gets hot, Lundqvist is not. When Lundqvist is hot, the team is not.

Lundqvist looks exhausted too. The first goal was soft. The second one he had zero push across the crease.

But a guy that says he loves NY and can't wait to play for us before he got here shows Ranger Blue material.
Whats he supposed to say "Crap i got traded to the Rangers, I don't want to play for them...."

Frankly, the team hasn't been hot during this whole season.

But they are playing VERY well tonight. Im happy with the more North-American game were seeing here tonight. I can live with losses when you play like this. But the first Jagr shift in the game personifies everything wrong with this team. to much dipsy doodle backwards passing. Im tired of the east-west crap. Im glad Hartford doesnt play that way, means our kids are learning the right way to play this game.

They've outplayed the devils tonight..I'm sorry, but you need your goalie at times like these.

Hossa - Cullen - Prucha
Ortmeyer - Betts/Krog - Hall/Hollweg

This team is not yet out of it. They only need a few pieces and assuming that Henrik and Jagr get the rest they need, this team can make a run into the playoffs and do something.
Do Not Claim Samsonov... Do you want to pay his salary and have no room to sign anyone in the offseason.....

It's called schizophrenia, you never know when/what NY will show up.

If Hollweg were put on waivers today, he would be claimed instantly. Believe that. He may not be worth a ton straight up, but he's a nice throw in for a team that doesn't need help scoring. Every guy on your team isn't going to be Gretzky. Hollweg does something pretty much every shift.

The period will include constant hooking, grabbing, holding, interfering. That's the way the Devils get things done in tight games.
