Any idea what is on Ward's new mask? Glad he finally figured out that Nickelback sucks.

He did.

Cam Ward will debut a new mask this evening. The new lid is pretty sharp, and features a tribute to the state of North Carolina. The Wright brothers plane, Cape Hatteras Lighthouse, USS North Carolina battleship and ocean waves adorn the mostly-red mask. Cam's wife's initials, "CWC," are hidden on a wing of the Wright brothers plane, and his grandfather, Frank, is honored on the back of the mask. The back also features the Stanley Cup with the Hurricanes secondary logo over it and the words "HAVE FUN," which Cam often writes on his goalie sticks.

Once again, basketball was on instead of the hockey game so I had to watch the Buffalo @ Atlanta snoozer. God, I hate basketball.. hopefully we hold onto win though.

good tight game. Ward was big. The pp got two big goals.

This looked like a playoff game

It was a hot pocket. I think the "hot pocket" part negates that its actually Mexican.

I had Mexican too.

and YES! The curse of Nickleback is OVER! That was probably the single most intense game the Canes have been in since opening night. Playoff style intensity between the two teams and a damn good game by both sides. It's a big time relief to see Frankie back out there contributing on the powerplay, as long as they take their time getting him back up to full game speed we should be good.

You guys are probably right about Tanabe, I STILL see a trade coming by the end of the week, and he's most likely involved. I thought it was going to be Belanger after the Boston game as he was benched for that one.

Alright, you're safe. Dave, you're on notice. Colbert style.

Frantisek Kaberle has powerplay goals in two consecutive games. Good to see.

Welcome back Frank! Mr. Clutch delivers the GWG for his second straight game...the last being game 7 of the SCF of course!

Something to build on, all healthy, Kaberle back on the PP, playing with a fire...he said hopefully. Change of sig time.

Good to see Kaberle back (and starting a streak). Still not looking great, though.

no joke. I had kindof let that little experiment I was doing with the 3 point regulation wins slide to the side with my increased class work. But seeing as how I'm done with my first exam in Bio 168 now I have a LITTLE more free time... like maybe 2 hours worth when I'm not at work. I'll post the "updated" standings some time today. As if I wouldn't be stating the obvious with this, yeah we don't get the "loser point" even close to as much as 2/3rds of the league, or even get to OT for that matter.
