The Rangers just got him in a trade with the Kings, and honestly I've never even heard of or seen him before this deal. Anyone know anything about him other than his stats, which are awful?

Do ANYTHING well?

He's a fourth line player in the OHL, so expect him to have a similar role in the ECHL. He was a throw in due to the fact that the Kings had too many players on their reserve list. I don't see him getting a pro contract any time soon. And from what I saw of him at Kings' camp, he's VERY lanky, tall and so thin.

That's exactly what I thought he was: A throw in.

He looks like a walking stiff to me, stats wise.

I posted something similar in the midde of the trade thread... Just an FYI he also suffered a knee injury at that time and missed part of the camp.

Nothing to get excited about, not knocking the kid, but if he contributes on the NHL level at any point consider it a bonus.

I've seen him play against our local Junior A team. The only reason I remember him is the same guy sits behind the visitors bench every game, and when Brampton is in town, he spends the entire game yelling, " SEEEE-MORRRE!". You have to be there.
