I was answering poster's question regarding our record without Souray.

Negative posts about Higgins? I think this is one of his better games recently, I think he's starting to find his step.. He's winning puck battles, he just has a cancer called Ryder on his line. The offensive is still slacking a bit in his game, but it seems to be bounces right now.. It comes to him and it always hops over his stick, goes behind him, or between his legs.

And thus far this game, it's a perfect example why I always yell at the team for moving the puck backwards in the neutral and defensive zones. We've been doing it far too much and then the Canes come in full force and hem us in our zone. We must move the puck in a forward motion to initiate our forecheck, not move it backwards to initiate theirs.

Yes the transition game is still there, some guys picked up the slack. Souray and Bouillon ar eplaying very well. We need to get faster on the puck and keep it away from the danger areas and everything is working fine so far. Hopefully Andrei can take the time to fully recovers and come back strong and rested.

It's an illusion because he's not with Markov, he's doing fine.

Edit : Pitsburgh lead 2-1 over Nashville, they are on fire.

Yeah Higgins is making a lot more plays that remind of pre-injury Chris. Most of all though he is just driving the net with all he has again, if he pots one tonight or soon he could get back on track. He looks like he's ready.

Is it just me or when Niinimaa touches the puck I'm getting more nervous

I like the way Souray is playing tonight. Defensively.

Does anyone know if Sopcast has the game online? It says they do, but that channel is showing the Laffs game.

Best game of the whole season for Aaron Downey. Not a bad game at all for the habs.

Yeah, it's 1-1. Aebby and Pleks are stellar.

Samsonov waived not playing, perezhogin scratched.
Kovalev scored, and red hot Plekanec assisted.

Bouillon wouldn't be playing in the NHL if he wasn't with the Habs. I can't stand him no more. It's not the occasional big hit that will change things. Sure he has a big heart, but I'm so sick of his puny shots that are blocked most of the time.

He's still better than Rivet.

I agree about Higgins. He's finding his jump back. I predict an explosion in about 4-5 games.

When I seen him beat a defender to the outside with speed in the first period, I smiled.

Him and Dandenault are plain awful. Can't understand why they're still together.

He still looks depressed on the ice tho. Like...when he misses a play he kind of gives up on the play and puts his head down.

Yep... I'm noticing that too. Slow progression seems to have started last game. Going over that hump I hope.

Nothing that a big goal won't fix, IMHO.

He's a moody guy. According to some beat writer. He gets high and low pretty easily.
