I noticed after I posted that it was an old post in fact the first time around I said that I would look at Samsonov but today I said I wouldnt. I still wouldnt today this dude really is an enigma he has talent but needs to show it.

A couple of years ago when NHL2Nite was on I remember John Buccigross (sp?) stating that we should have traded Backman, a 1st, and some minor leaguer for Samsonov to the Bruins to help in the playoffs (I think it was the year we lost to Vancouver). I was totally against that suggestion because I knew (I like how I can say that now even though it could have gone the other way) that Samsonov had all the skill you want in a player but didn't have the desire needed to ever achieve his potential.
