Is the game over? Please tell me BUF won it in regulation.

Edit: yes, yes they did. Some breathing room.

Yup ...were still 4th...but 4pts up on 9th ...we need at least 3pts of 4 in the 2 games vs Ottawa.

Well the only decent thing is that it's tight for everyone, not just us...but man, remember when we were 5 points back of Buffalo?

Since the road trip to Buffalo we suck, maybe I should go back and reverse the karma.

RDS is great, I love it. How can you go wrong seeing every Habs game. The only improvement I would like to see is that they would show Canadien Express more consistently. I know that they don't show it on the weekends, but they didn't show it last night either. I work full time evenings so I really enjoy the express. Anyway, I'm off tomorrow so I'll get to see the game real time.

I remember when they used to give stars to Theosleep the year after he won his trophies. The guy sucked like crazy and he was still getting stars.

The opponent shoots from the red line, Houde would say "Mais quelle arrêt de Théodort"

Just showing Habs games doesn't make a network good. RDS has pretty poor production value, both in terms of network talent, and camerawork.

I find the RDS coverage and camerawork a lot better at home then on the road.

Whenever they go on the road I always think the cameraman is drunk ...I remember that blackhawks game at the start of the year, just terrible.

But I still love RDS.

well, all journalists were like that.. all journalists were saying that he was good even if he allowed 1-2 bad goals per game.

if a journalist had said the truth, he would have been scratched from theo's "personal list of journalists who can interview me"

When it's not a Habs game, or when the Habs are playing away, RDS choose their own three stars... don't ask me why...

And when the game is in Montreal, RDS cast are choosing them...

Well for 1.37$ a month (with Illico's 30 channels for 41$ a month), RDS is quite a deal, even if they are not perfect. When you think that some NHL teams charges 10$ on PPV for a single game...

It's because it's not the RDS production team that operates the cameras and production studio

i meant on road games

I'm really happy I got RDS here in southern Ontario (Rogers Digital customer here), even though it's noticeably compressed compared to other channels like TSN and Sportsnet Ontario in SD.

In fact, TSN looks like it's double the resolution, even if it's standard NTSC resolution. I have an tube HDTV, but I shudder to think about how it would look on a LCD set. Good thing the tube softens the pixel structure, because I can still definitely see "digital blocks".
