As for American cities, I'll go with Phildelphia. Been so long since any professional sports team won there, plus they have a strong fanbase.

Toronto, mostly because of the long wait. I'd just like to see any Canadian team win the Cup for that matter. It's been a while!

Toronto...the CN tower would probably come crashing down or something...seriously. Toronto and I'm not being a homer here.

Philadelphia would burn to the ground if they won it this year... could you imagine? They'd have to go on a 30 game winning streak and hope for some help. If they were able to do that, and then roll through the playoffs, I'm sure that Philly fans would go crazy. But, amongst teams that actually have a chance, I'd have to say Toronto.

I notice that many easterners cant seem to think of a world beyond Ontario..FYI there are 3 western canadian teams 2 of which have been in the SCF in the last 5 years !!!!!!! Nashville and Anaheim cant' get fans to games so im going to say they probably wouldnt even know it was there..all others would be absolutely crazy. well ok except Toronto....they would be in shock they made it and miss it.

When the Pens won the Cup, 30,000+ fans showed up at Pittsburgh Airport between 12:00 AM and 3:00 AM to welcome the team home, that was pretty awesome...

The following year when they won the Cup again, there was mad security, they were prepared for it the 2nd time around.

I'm sure Pittsburgh would have a big party, but they would be more excited if the Steelers won again.

No American city could compare with what would would happen in a Canadian city, especially ones that are as deprived as Toronto and Vancouver, who I would think riot and explode the most. Edmonton and Calgary gave you a taste, but Toronto and Vancouver have had to deal with much much longer droughts and have a much bigger overall fanbase due to being bigger cities.

Its nice that Raleigh and Tampa had some fans during their run but it could not in anyway compare to the large scale riots that would happen in Toronto and Vancouver.

i gotta go with the Flames... i know it may be a homer pick... but you cant argue that Calgary was "Cup Crazy" in the spring of 04... if they went on another run i see that excitement compounded

Montreal, as demonstrated by the 1993 victory that provoked this riot:

Well sorry because Anaheim had their 9th straight sellout, sold out 11 of their last 12 home games (some even exceeding capacity) and the rest of the season is already about a sellout.

When they won it ions ago they had over 2 million people for the parade. Canít imagine what it would be like today. But we will never know this year.

Vancouver. We had riots after we lost the cup, imagine what would happen if we won it?
