Insole/Footbed Size

Ok...my stock ones are worn out, figure I could get some nicer ones especially after hearing about them, like the Shock Doctors and Superfeet. I do have slight pronation so figure it'd help a little too. I'm going with the Shock Doctors for now as they are cheaper and really only looking to try. What size would I go for....confused if I should be getting my skate size or shoe size. I haven't figured it out and my LHS site says your "US skate size" which confuses me even more, lol. I'm in 8.5 EE Vapors, and 10.5 tennis shoe.
