I'm going to Ottawa this weekend, which means I get to hang out with people who have a good hockey team, and talk about how "this year is THE year" instead of trolling these boards.
Oh and...real estate prices are down. That's good right?
Well, I guess it's not good for Gui's girlfriend. Ah well.

Real estate prices are probably down in Montreal. But not here in Gatineau. Man, we broke another record for construction permits in January...
I thought I heard that koivu left practise early the other day.
I've been wondering to myself the couple weeks whether he's actually hurt or something.
At this point, if he is hurt, he might as well take a rest because he isn't helping at all right now. However, I doubt he would ever pull himself out of a game unless it was doctor's orders or something... even then.....
As unimpressive as the Habs have been in drafting, signing, and assembling a team, the Bruins are in nowheresville despite having signed Chara and Savard, and their trading of Joe Thornton looks worse and worse as time goes by. However, that's small confort.
Despite their having drafted higher than the Devils and Senators for quite a few years, the Habs haven't closed the gap on those two teams. The Sens have overcome the loss of Chara by drafting Meszaros and acquiring Preissing and Corvo. Let's hope Fischer and Emelin amount to something because O'Byrne, Archer, and Cote aren't playing in the NHL. Since the Habs drafted Higgins, they've added only Latendresse anf Lapierre to the roster while the Devils have Parise and Zajac
You know, sometimes I wonder if a lot of the problem is Koivu!! The team can't do a thing right when he isn't playing good, when he doesn't play, the team basically shuts down completely.
I wonder if trading him away would be good for the team....we might be able to get a good return if we traded him. At this point, I just want someone to get traded, we need a big shakeup because there is something that is causing the team to be in the skid they are in.....its terrible to be a Habs fan sometimes!!!
The Positive Energy Thread - Time To Turn It Around!!!!!
Saturday is the night where this season turns around. Koivu, (whoever he may be playing with) nets a pair, Kovalev and Samsonov a goal and an assist each.
Positive thoughts and energy in here ONLY please! Let's throw out some good Karma and watch them turn it around!
I really feel like it will just take one game for this team to turn it around. Once they get that monkey off their back!!! Big win tomorrow and we are back in the 4th!
