I just want to say how nice it is to see our guys standing up for each other finally. If Colton Orr keeps doing this he can stay on my team anyday.

Love Hollweg with that little bit of effort right at the end there. Great Period.

Yeah, and Jed was shoving I believe Fedotenko after Holly took a shove. I love it when we stick up for each other.

2 great periods, but i did notice something disturbing at the end, it looked like Renney changed the lines up.

I dont freakin get it (unless it was an abboration), those 4 lines were playing GREAT GREAT GREAT hockey. complete hockey, motivated hockey, hungry hockey. why on earth would you change it up?

So, can we start praying that these new lines can perform a miracle and put us in a playoff spot?

If all lines continue producing, it's great. That means it's finally a hockey team.

I can't find one single player I think has had a bad game tonight.

Moreso, we are having one of thoose nights, like against Boston.

We better give these lines more games before its possible to read anything in to it.

Just got to live mode on my recording. Because I missed the first 10 minutes of the game.

Hopefully the COP line can pop one in during the third, and Henke can pick up the SO. I'd actually sleep well if we were able to put together a complete team effort like that.

Seriously, it's worth repeating, I love Ryan Hollweg. The kid is all heart and tough as nails. A true man's man.

Great interview with Hollweg there saying that the chants meant a lot to him and it makes him want to go out there and work harder.

Good stuff from him.

By the way, how much do you think Tampa fans and players like Avery after that high stick on the faceoff? The refs missed it, but the Tampa player's face didn't.. neither did the replays.

That could be it, ola...

it's not the first game they've played well all season, and it's the first time in a while they've gone up against shaky goaltending, which gives you confidence all-around. Perhaps this is what they needed, but Jagr, Shanny and others still are mostly blanked and they'll be needed.

I think what would make the most sense in the end is to get Straka on Shanahans line, and keep Nylander on Jagrs line.

Though Prucha have not been able to play his game and still cover up for Nyls and JJ. Hossa-Nylander-Jagr? Hossa aren't that fast on the backcheck.

I think Renney wanted to see a hot Avery with Nyls and Jagr, and then have Hossa with Straka and Shanahan. This is as good time as ever to test something like that.

It's hard...

to root against Hollweg. He gives 100% each shift..ufortunately, he's just not effective sometimes...I hope he's finding his confidence right now, as hopefully is the case with others...
