Mike Komisarek a Forward?

I heard somewhere that Komisarek made his debut as a Forward last game......anyone else hear that?
Did he look out of place?
How many minutes, etc?

yes its true, he played a little over 5 mins at right wing with Langdon and Kilger
he wasn't too bad, but 5 mins of icetime isn't much

hopefully they'll put him back on D
they should tonight with Quintal being suspended

With no other extra forwards available to replace Zednik, Julien decided to try Komisarek at forward. I think (and hope) it was a one time deal, and he can continue his evolvement into one of our top 4 dmen.

I think it was more a band aid situation more then a real try out at the forward position. Juneau and Zednik was out of the line up so Julien use the last player available to fill the rooster. Under the circumstance he did a good job...

With Quintal out with the suspension hopefully we'll see Komisarek back on the blueline. I wouldn't mind if they put Rivet back among the forwards if they are still scrambling with Juneau out again tonight.

Why do they just call a player up, like Benoît Gratton?? We just can't continu to play every defenseman at forward.
