World Pond Hockey Championship

It's that time again in Plaster Rock NB. The small village of 1,200 is invaded by 120 teams from all Provinces 23 American States, and teams from England, Ireland, Switzerland, Austria, Germany, Egypt, Bermuda, and the Cayman Islands. Playing on 23 rinks on the Tobique River. PM Harper set to drop the opening puck along with Premier Graham.
Wonder if the Plaster Rock NBLCC brought in extra stock

I've been trying to get a team together to go to this for 3 years now, but it is just too far away from here. You can't even fly in anywhere near Plaster Rock (closest in Maine, then you have to rent a car and drive, or fly into Moncton and drive 5 hours to Plaster Rock). But it looks like such a blast! I know many other places are starting to do this (Mpls./St. Paul had theirs a few weeks ago), what a great way to get back to the roots of the game and have some fun.

I hope the Cayman Islands team does well.
