I don't think Tallari is a player that will make an NHl impact, he is the captain of Niagara. I saw him play once against BC and he missed a penalty shot which kind of set my opinion on him though

This is apparently another case of a kid bailing early to get the money from the old CBA before the new one changes what kind of money a high first-rounder can get.
Man, Whitney is going to fit in well with either WBS Penguins or there paretnt club Pittsburgh.
I can't wait to see him play!

That said, the only thing I have heard as I've already mentioned about three times, is that according to the UMD broadcasters during the Webcast of the West Finals between UMD and DU, the Lessard deal was/is all but a done deal. The negoatiations were supposedly already completed by the undisclosed NHL team and Lessard. The only thing that was left to do was Lessard's signature on the dotted line..
What kind of society do we live in where people are presumed to be lying rather than telling the truth? And why'd you close the other thread?

First off, I already answered your first question.

Second, I closed the thread because I don't want some flame war that got started to get outta hand.

BC defensemen J.D. Forrest has signed with SaiPa of the Finnish SM-Liiga.

I have a thread confirming the signing over on the Northern Europe board. Oilers Chick: You've probably seen him more than I have. Maybe you could give your impressions over there?

I can't say that I'm surprised. I've been hearing rumbles well before the (NCAA) season ended that there was the possibility of him turning pro this off-season. I wish him luck in Phoenix. He was a joy to watch at Minnesota.

The sioux are still a stacked team with the losses of Parise, Bochenski and coach blais. It will be a disappointment if the sioux dont win the national title this year or next.

You should plan early then. Losing both Parise and Bochenski is large. They were the two best players on that team, without question.

Ben Eaves and the Penguins agree to terms:

http://www.pittsburghpenguins.com/index.php

With Kris Beech now eligible for waivers, and Toby Petersen and Eric Meloche gone, he'll probaly end up as Wilkes-Barre's second line centre behind Shane Endicott.
