He may have a good shot at the AHL, but I wouldn't put money on him making it to the NHL....at least not anytime soon.

He seems to have good stats? What are his best parts and worst parts of his game? Is he physical and does he fight once in a while?

Two more big signings earlier today, in case you all didn't see it elsewhere on the HF boards:

UND's Matt Greene signed with the Edmonton Oilers. You can read about it HERE.

Jeff Tambellini opted to forego his senior year and joins Big Al in the pro ranks, signing with the LA Kings. You can read more about it HERE.

No and he won't since he will only be a sophomore this year at Denver.

Matt Green clearly is leaving in protest of the NCAA's ruling on Native American mascots.

Manny isn't going to leave for a while. He's got a shot at another national title and the prospect of winning it on home ice in a couple years.

Chris Holt leaves UNO and signs with the New York Rangers....really tough loss for the Mavs. You can read all about it HERE.

Anyone wanna wager that Greg Moore is next?

I'm really suprised that the Flyers haven't picked up Grumet-Morris or Bruckler yet. Since Niittymaki and Little both left the Phantoms their spots are available.

Is there an article out there that'll give me a little info?

I believe Al Alven's Flyers Draft Review article covered what was happening with Grumet-Morris and Bruckler.

I had the oppurtunity to watch Greene for the last 3 years in a SIOUX uniform. He will be a solid pro, maybe not this year but in the future.Going to miss his bruising checks but not his occassional stupid penalty. We did replace him with another big dude,Joe Finley,6"7" 240.

HUGE hit for the eagles. the freshmen are really going to have to step in and be impressive right away, otherwise your leading returning scorer is brian boyle, who doesn't get hot until after christmas.

bc also will have to have kids step up on defense, because they lost Alberts, Adams, Lauze, and Leahy. that's four big bodies to replace

oh, and corey schneider better be able to play every day at a high level, cuz he's gonna be getting peppered early in the season until BC's D gels. and he needs to stay healthy.

lots of ?s at the heights now

Looks like DU's 2005 captain Brett Skinner is going to sign with Vancouver.

I'd rather Skinner would have stayed, but this move isn't as detrimental as Greene or Stuart. Carle looks like he'll stay *knock wood* and we have Fast as a potential replacement.Does anyone know if we can move up Brookwell?

Its definately a loss for DU. Hopefully Carle doesn't pull a fast one and sign with San Jose. Wonder what Gwoz will do now.

Unless San Jose makes Carle an offer he absolutely can't refuse, I'd be really surprised if Carle leaves DU. SJ is loaded with very good young defensemen. The only defenseman they lost is Rathje, but he's likely to be replaced by Christian Ehrhoff. If not, they can also chose from Jim Fahey, Doug Murray among others.

My guess is Gwoz could either bring up one of the '06 kids scheduled to be playing in say the USHL this fall or sign a walk-on. If worse comes to worst, they can always use Adrian Veideman on defense. As I'm sure that you're aware of Jori, Gwoz did have Veideman playing defense at various times last season.

Yup, Adrian is very versatile.

I guess Gauthier will get the "C" now.

Nope, not yet but if I see/hear/read anything about it, I'll be sure to pass it along.

Also, to the individual who asked me about Jay Latulippe, here's a bit of lowdown on him:

He's a play who works hard and gives 110% every game. The biggest knock on him is his size. He's small...about 5'10/170. He plays alot bigger than his small frame. He's gritty, tenacious and very intense. One area of concern about Latulippe when he was at Clarkson was his ability to keep his emotions in check. Latulippe is a fierce battler who is very good along the boards and in the corners. He can give opposing defensemen fits because he is tough to play against. He led Clarkson in scoring with 36 points (13G, 20A). Some of Latulippe's best plays came on Clarkson's power plays, where he scored 10 of 13 goals and led the team.
