This GDT screams Scandinavian simplicity, this is why I predict an Alfredsson hattrick tonight. My Volvo would be proud.

5-2 Ottawa. That should be enough to shut up the OLE OLE chants.

I think you guys are being a little too flattering to Ottawa, or dismissive of Montreal. Especially with Abby in net who has been great against the Sens this year. Hoping for a 9-0 Ottawa win, will more likely be something like a 2-1 Montreal win in a shootout.

This game is of great importance in establishing whether or not the Senators have the kller intinct. The Hab/Sens have been exchanging home victories for a while. I hope it stops tonight and they can pull out a win in the Bell center. They got to show them who is boss!

Should be a good game. There seems to be an urgency in Montreal, or at least in the atmosphere. The Canadiens need to push now to secure a playoff spot. It should be fun to watch, as Montreal is the greatest building to play in as the crowd is unmatched. The Ole Ole chants are the best in the league. I like it.

Couple that with the public pressure put on the Canadiens, and it should be a high energy opening frame. Montreal is the top hockey city in the world, so I'm sure everyone there is paying extra attention to these late season, division rival games. Should be loud and high paced early on.

Ottawa will have to weather the early storm, and hope to end the first at least tied. I don't think this game means as much for Ottawa, as they're the favorites the rest of the way, for 4th spot, but it will be a good test to see them play.

I agree.

The last time we were in this situation, we went to Montreal and the Habs were on the verge of imploding yet again, and they scored 3 times in like 2 minutes in the 2nd to win the game 3-1.

So I'm not optimistic.

If the Senators win this one I'll be very impressed, and the mood in Montreal will not be pretty.

The Habs have no Dryden ceremony tonight to get them pumped like last time. Looking forward to a good game and Ottawa victory. No goal prediction.

Earlier in the year you could watch NHL game using TVU, but a couple months ago they took the NHL off of it, so I'm not sure if you can stream any Sens games anymore.

Whoa gives all us technically challenged hope we too could someday do a gdt, way to go whoa.

Sens winning both these games would be monstrous. A feat of greatness. A momentum changer. Come on Sens, nows the time to find a way, make a statement.

Go Sens go

I don't agree that Ottawa are the favourites to finish 4th in the East.

I agree. This team has to develop good habits and win a game their opposition has more incentive to win. This situation will arise in the playoffs, where the sens will half to finish off a team that has its back to the wall or risk extending/or losing the series.

It is equally important game for both teams, consideing Ottawa is playing the likes of Atlanta, Buffalo 2x , Edmonton, and Carolina 2x in the next stretch. They cannot afford to rest on their modest achievements.

Murray rides his number 1 goalie too much.

The playoffs are coming up! Give Emery some rest will you!

Hopefully a Sens win can cure my hangover.
