I Believe!!

This is it folks, no more trash talk or negative sh#$. I know we are all entitled to our own opinion and a lot of them are very valid, but this is the time we get the drive going. Lets have our faith in K Lowe and the rest of the team to get the job done. This means no paper bags as well.

Let’s show everyone we are the true class of the NHL.

Flames/Canucks fans please feel free to join in...you're not going anywhere anyways.

GO OIL GO....I BELIEVE

P.S. Sign Smyty

Regards,

Die hard Oil Fan

I believe Edmonton must go 19-8 down the stretch to make the playoffs.

Done and done. I believe we will make the playoffs, Colarado is all but eliminated IMO, Calgary 6 more times is gonna kill them big time, unless we outsuck them though...

I believe we ill see a flurry of trades from K-Lowe, i reckon he has kicked enough tires and asked all options on what to trade and knows what he's gonna go for. MY prediction, end of this week we will have 2 new players..

There's always faith...

but really, its hard to see it coming to fruition that the Oilers will make the PO's given how many teams they have to leap frog and given the current state of affairs with the team ( defense is shaky, goaltending isn't up to its reliable self, and the scoring touch doesn't seem to be firing on all cylinders ).

No doubt the Oilers will make some noise down the stretch, like every other year, but it just doesn't seem like there is a collective cohesiveness willing to see it occur.

Now if he could kick some ***** and get the team to play on the road. All the trades in the world mean nothing if you can't win on the road, and the bozos wearing the Flaes uniforms have shown zero ability to that.

I believe... that if a team is going to fall on their faces down the stretch, it's the Calgary Flames. I don't think they have the coaching staff to win the tough games.

awesome no whining in here at the moment about the Oilers needing to be gutted or how we missed out on Stuart.

I approve of this belief in the Oilers and haven't given up hope either

I just have been avoiding this place a bit more lately, due to excessive negativity from a few posters that make this place annoying

I love how in all these threads somebody says something negative. It is a positive thread. We know many have their doubts but there are many threads were you can say that.

One of these days, we will have a thread where everybody says something positive and it will lift our team to play their best hockey.

O and ya, I believe.

I believe threads like this will continue to appear once every two days until the Oilers are mathematically eliminated.

Nice thread.

I grew up in the shadows of the Coliseum but have been living in
Leaf country for twenty years. I have always been amazed at how
much Leaf fans believe in their team. I would swear that
half way through the third round of last years playoffs many of
the people out here still had the Leafs as the overwhelming
favourite to win the cup.

I believe as well! Realistically I think of the 3 teams with 66 pts, I think the Wild will be the team we have to catch. They are 6 pts up, we have a game in hand (which we use up Tuesday @ Boston) and we still play them 5 times this season. If, no no......WHEN we win on Tuesday against Boston the gap will be cut to 4 pts behind them and we still play them 5 more times. With that being said, the next night Vancouver @ Minnesota and I will be pulling for firstly a regulation victory, but a Canucks regulation victory. By Saturday, the Oilers play 3 more times and the Wild 2 more times. All 5 games have to go our way, we play Bruins, Sabres, Leafs while Minnesota plays Canucks and Predators, but we could be above the cut by Saturday! (Realistically I think we will win 2 of those 3 over Bruins and Leafs but still), BELIEVE!!!!!!!!!!!

Loved the effort tonight. An effort like that against Boston on Tuesday will get us 2 points. LETS GO OILERS!
