Who Gets Traded The Week of 02.12.07?

Miller, Norstrom, Garon, other??? Post your picks and let's see who's prediction was correct at week's end.

I thnk that either Miller or Sopel will be the next to hit the highway.

I wonder if Washington would be interested in Garon since Kolzig is out for the next three weeks. Then again, Brent Johnson has played well this season, so maybe not.

Sopel to Tampa Bay.

Norstrom, Miller, and Pushkarev, Miller and Push together, Norstrom all by his lonesome.

I was thinking Miller and Armstrong to Buffalo. Wishful thinking on my part though.

I'll bite.

Sopel to Tampa Bay
Miller to Buffalo
Armstrong and Garon to Ottawa

but these all happen at the deadline.

I doubt Armstrong is going anywhere. He plays his role very well - and does so very cheaply. He shows up to play every night and does what he's capable of doing. Look how good the Frolov-Armstrong-Cammaleri line is playing. Admittedly, Armstrong is the 'talent' on that line - but he plays the role he needs to play quite well.
Not that he's untradable or anything. But I imagine Lombardi would want value for him. DL wouldn't just throw him into a trade.

But I think Army's trade value is relatively high right now. I think a lot of people would be suprised what we could get for him

miller-buffalo, pitt

sopel-tampa, edm

cammi-nash? (long shot-DL still trying to pry a one or more of their D)

norstrom-nash was best bet, market's drying up for him and his salary

pushkarev=a little extra incentive for a package deal

I don't see Miller being moved. I think DL will try and retain him and move Sopel/Norstrom. Given the right package/deal I can see Armstrong/Miller moved but I do not see DL going out of his way to move either like Norstrom/Sopel. Should be fun to see what happens

Whomever + Dustin Brown

Whomever is traded, he needs to be traded with Dustin Brown, he's worthless.

I don't see Norstrom not being moved. Norstrom is solid gone. Miller is a tough call. Depends on the offers. We'll have a new captain 2 weeks from now...and some (unknown at the moment) forward will be wearing #14 next year.

I'll play

Garon & Sopel to the NYR for Montoya, Tyutin, & Girardi

Miller to Buffalo for Sekera & a 3rd...

Armstrong and Pushkarev to New Jersey for Rasmussen, Vrana & a 3rd... (the Devils probably don't have enough salary room, but Giona is out with an injury.)

Buffalo will need to move players in order to take Miller, so I doubt we see Buffalo pick up anyone of any real intrest.

Im sure we will see Norstrom, Miller or Sopel to Edmonton with hopefully Anaheims first coming back.
