Staios and Bergeron are our only two defensemen that haven't been in the box yet

We'll need to get a PP goal if we want to win tonight.

This team better wake the heck up and stop taking penalties.

Taking the positive viewpoint it could be 4 to nothing!

To be truthful, this is my first time on the Oilers board, but I'm listening to the game now, and they're one of my favorite teams in the league.(5th favorite, behind Flyers(obviously), Nashville, Minnesota, and Anaheim). I guess having a bad Flyers team makes it easy to start paying attention to some other teams sometimes :-D.

I'm a big fan of Roloson too. I nearly died when he hurt his knee in the SC finals last year.

Need a HUGE period now, bigger than the second against ATL.

half-assed 1st period...gave up a bunch of scoring chances, took dumb penalties, and as a result are down 2. wake the **** up guys, this is ridiculous.

1st game on the 7-game road-trip and you come out with a period like that, ridiculous.

I'd really like these refs when we play the Canucks. They seem to know what interferance is. As bad as it is, the score should really be 4-0 like Oyler typed.

of course they're gonna lose! I forgot that they've already won two in a row and thus it's impossible for this team to win 3!

I'd love to see this team win 3 in a row

That 2nd goal. Defensive zone coverage like, from Horcoff (not even a D), it just garbage. Dont just hug the guy. Typical Oilers this year. Can't string together wins or effort. Lets hope it was only 1 bad period.

Nashville, Minnesota and Anaheim?

Leave, you're not welcome!

Glad that you have it right though - no "second favourites" in your own conference.

I died a little bit inside when he hurt his knee.

The thing is Edmonton needs to learn how to play smart. They're not doing it now. Rip into em MacT.

Lets see...so far the Oilers have had a good start at wearing down the few good pk'ers they have....give up 2 PP goals and Greene has his lunch haneded to him in a fight.

Solid period to start this road trip against the easiest team on this trip.

Well what do they do now? They put that Period behind them, they get back to being physical and working for your chances. I thought they played a pretty good period and they deserved a better fate. There is alot of game left and this Oilers team is far from out of it.

GO OILERS GO!!!!

I expect we'll see a much better Oilers team coming out of the tunnel for the 2nd period...they'll be more desperate, and I bet Boston will come out a bit complacent.

I guess showing up for a game which is one of the only winnable ones on a 7-game road trip against a team that has all but quit for the season is too much to ask of this club.

Haha. Nashville because I've been saying for years now they're gonna be nasty, and no one believed me. Minnesota because I love the idea of a hockey state(of course, Canada is a hockey country, but that's another story ) and Anaheim because I grew up loving the movies, and hence, the team. But Oilers have a ton of history behind them.

But yes the only team I actually like in the East is Atlanta. But other than that, I like the West. But for tonight, I hope you guys beat Boston.

Typical...... another Oiler letdown in a game that they need. When is this team going to lite a fire under their collective a$$es and play with the urgency thats needed. I look to the leaders on this team to pick it up, and turn it around.

When something is done about the front office and coaching staff situation that is nothing but a culture of past Oiler glory.

In other words, never.
