Cole is hurt, along with Stillman and Williams.

Hmm. Look at the bright side. At least we weren't shut out.

What a horrible performance.

Come guys, it could be worse. At least Toronto, NYI and TB aren't winning tonight.

Wait a second....

Crap.

Disappointing on so many levels I don't know where to start. team is just not in sync. I'm sure injuries are causing some of that, but its deeper than that.

We didn't do much of anything well tonight. Vasicek/Adams/Larose were the most consistent in terms of energy. Clearly the BrindAmour line was missing Willy.

And I'm sorry but it must be said. People say we have a glut of defensemen, and we do have a lot of bodies. I just wish we had more quality to go with the quantity. I wish we had more than one who is capable of being a NHL top 6 guy right now. Commodore and Wesley, Gold bless them, don't need to be out there. Hedican isn't all the way back, and neither is Kaberle. Gleason is still very raw and tentative. W left Cam hanging out there a lot again tonight.

By the way, is there anywhere that keeps detailed passing stats. I'm curious to see how we are connecting (or failing to) compared to last season. We don't communicate, we throw blind passes to no one, or we're off by a length or make the stretch pass a second too late. All things we did so well last year.

What a lame game. I finally find enough time to actually get to watch a game last night, and then those Canes come out. So disappointing. It actually leaves me in a terrible mood this morning.
