i don't know, i've kinda lost hope in him. I mean now w/ Dupuis, Avery and Hossa's emergence he's basically slipped in the depth chart. If I was him, I'd want out. He's not a 4th line player.
w/ Renney as the head coach. Yes. anyone else, no. I guess im in the minority, i think prucha is capable of a lot more than weve seen.
I'm with you man. It just seems that different terms apply to guys like Hossa (who got chance after chance) and Prucha. Sure, Hossa has come out firing, but the point is that Prucha would never have gotten such a chance.
my gut feeling tells me he is traded before the deadline for EITHER Horton, or Zherdev.
I can live with that. What I can't live with is Marty Rucinsky or his ilk for Petr.
With the team on its recent run with the players they've acquired (and Hossa's recent emergence), though, I would think that Glen is only dealing from strength.

Zherdev, maybe, as he is overpaid for his production as of right now, and isn't exactly in favor in Columbus. I think if anything, the time to trade him was when he was holding out, before that contract was worked out.
After this season, teams will be a little more wary about trading for him, with his greed, and his lack of production.
Horton is not being traded people. He's gotten more ice time since he had his talk with Jacques Martin, and he's on his way to career highs in assists and points. Martin is not stupid. He will do what it takes to help his young star out.

I think that any deal involving Horton or Zherdev will happen in the offseason (maybe even on draft day) rather than during the season.

Id love Horton. Id deal Prucha for him. If we cant get him, id take Jokinen. Id consider dealing Prucha for Jokinen if the rangers also got a prospect back as well. Prucha aint gonna do anything on the 4th line.
At this point, I don't think Prucha has much value to even be traded. So it wouldn't be worth it. Rangers would be better off holding on to him and seeing if he can add strength in the off season.
