Also, while he is oft injured and misses a fair number of regular season games, he rarely misses a playoff game. Forsberg is a lot like Yzerman imo, the kind of guys who will play through just about anything when it matters.

He was attempting to come back for game 6 of the 2001 finals for Colorado after having his spleen removed at the conclusion of the second round. The doctors ordered that he stay out of the lineup.

And he's got those 162 pts in 139 games, 1.16 ppg.

Combine that with 11 NHL postseasons and you'll understand why they wanted him so badly
