Tomorrow is the biggest game of the season. It could be said for many others, but this one has a huge meaning. It can determine the Trade Deadline strategy of the team. Although I think they will stand pat regardless, if they lose tomorrow I think they'll be more willing to sell.

BTW, rest of the games

New York Islanders - 4: 30-23-8
Pittsburgh Penguins - 4: 33-18-9
Montreal Canadians - 3: 32-25-6
Boston Bruins - 2: 30-26-4
Philadelphia Flyers - 2: 16-36-9
Atlanta Thrashers - 1: 31-22-10
Carolina Hurricanes - 1: 31-25-7
Columbus Blue Jackets - 1: 23-32-6
Ottawa Senators - 1: 35-22-4
St. Louis Blues - 1: 26-26-9
Toronto Maple Leafs - 1: 29-23-9

Only 3 teams with sub-.500 records and one of which is Philly who plays like they're an all-star team against the Rangers. It's going to be a tough stretch, every team except 3 are in the playoff hunt. If the Rangers want it they better be the more hungry team because the teams they are facing all want it too.

Yes but not one game left with a first place team. Even though we lost the last two games, and we are 5 points out, we have 13 games left against teams 6th through 11th place. We need to win 9 of those games. We have four games against horrible teams(St. Louis, Columbus, Philadelphia(2)). We have to go 4-0 in those games, we cannot stub our toe. And we have 5 games against good teams(Pittsburgh(4), Ottawa). We need to go 2-2-1. That would give us 95 points. And we could still get in and stub our toe once somewhere and get 93 points and get in the playoffs.

We played very good in the two losses to the Devils. If we can stay consistant and play with the intensity, night in and night out, We can make the playoffs. We need Hank to stay in the zone.

We have to find out a way to beat the Icelanders.

It probably doesn't matter. Just hope they beat each other up good, and that the game ends in regulation play.

From the Rangers playoff perspective, we should be cheering for the Islanders.

The Islanders win and they're tied with Montreal (both would be six up on the Rangers, 4 if the Rangers can win tonight) If Montreal wins then they're up by 8 on the Rangers and the Rangers make no ground up on them even with a win tonight.

Finally a 2pt game. A win tonight and we're 4 pts down with 20 to go.

Updated, Rangers are now 7 points back with the Habs win over Toronto. Habs are now in 7, Canes in 8, Isles 9, Leafs 10, Bruins 11, Rangers 12.

Atlanta's win prevents Boston from moving up any further and keeping the Rangers tied at #11.

Rangers play the Canadians tomorrow and will keep 3 games in hand while Carolina is off until Wednesday.

Good night for us, but you know how much the Rangers like to capitalize on such opportunities...

Good night tonight for the most part. Everything pretty much went our way except the Islanders winning. 6 points back now. Made up one point.

Good night tonight. Our Win over Montreal, along with a loss by Carolina has us 6 points down with 19 to go. Too bad the Isles pulled it out...they took over the 8th spot.

Wow, were right back in this now... of course, we have to actually win consistently, which has proved to be a problem.
