no renney interview has been posted yet, but russo's interview with brett hull is up and it's just about unlistenable.
Part of that is due to Russo being a moron and clueless about hockey, but Hull is also a terrible interview. The man has nothing to say other than the party line, no interesting analysis, and it sounds like he's shouting into the microphone.

He did not say "...having said that" even once. So I was happy with that.
...loves the way Avery is playing, likes what he saw from DuPuis last night.
...wants to get Valiquette/Weekes a start at some point and give the King a rest.
...feels the team is ready to win some games at home, blah, blah, blah..
...nothing else much besides that.

i heard the interview on my lunch break, he sounded really upbeat about this team, really makes me think that sather may not be making anymore moves
said he has a game in my where he wants to rest lundqvist i assume its chicago
he sounded like he thinks this team has turned the corner and this isnt just a current up in a series of ups and downs

I heard the interview on the way to Hartford to see the Pack. He didnt say anything eye opening.
By the way, If anyone has any questions about the Pack game tonight (3-0 W) feel free to ask me.

we are going to get staal when his junior team is out so that is another defensemen right there, we currently have pock as the 7 man, we have kasper in the minors if neccessary, plus guys like lampman and baranka
i dont think sather is going to deal for a d-man, i really believe he is done unless an opportunity arises that is too good to pass up
