Why would the Wings trade him? They are trying to win the cup.

You'd have better luck with Souray if the habs sell.

Detroit board on here has a link to it saying hes on the block. Regardless to how the season turns out they gotta get rid of some ppl. Might as well see if someone bites and gives them someone even if hes a rental player.

Schneider for Gaborik and Rolston? Throw in a first round pick and it's a deal.

(Dont worry, I'm kidding)

What is your offer for Souray.

Apparently, our assistant GM and a top scout was at your last game. The same scout followed the Wild since a few games now. As for Gauthier, the assistant GM, he was seen scouting Houston at least three times recently.

Reitz.

I'd rather get Markov.

Unless your ready to overpaid, I don't think that you'll be able to land Markov.

For Souray, the asking price will likely be a good prospect and 1st round pick.

What about a package around Pouliot for Souray?

Souray you don't even ****ing have Souray, and you will never get Schneider. Montreal is fighting for a playoff spot, and Detroit is fighting for first overall. Minnesota is fighting for a playoff spot. So why would Montreal or Detroit trade assets? they need to add not remove.

Keep shopping then. IMO that's overpaying.

Nagy gets a "decent" young player and a 1st rounder...

I guess that was REALLY HUGE overpayment if you consider that one of the best offensive d-man in the NHL should not get a good prospect and a 1st rounder...

And don't talk about his defensive game. We all know he's average but he's still one of the most impressive offensive d-man in the game this year.

Your offer should start with Pouliot IMO...

Decent young player? Tjarnqvist was a good fourth liner for the Stars, maybe he can become a third liner, but that's at best. Tjarnqvist will also be 28 in April, so I wouldn't call that young,

That's the same thing as the Wild offering Mattias Weinhandl and a first rounder.

Yeah, you're right. You gonna go into the playoffs with a team who sucks on PP.

No need for one of the best d-man in this situation...

Maybe some team would pay that, but I don't think the Wild would or should. He wouldn't make a big enough difference to justify that price. We don't need a big powerplay shot. If we get a defenseman we need one that plays better than average defense.

Still, unless you acquire a Chris Pronger, that will not solve your PP problems.

What PP problems? Don't let the numbers from that horrific road slump affect things. Rankings mean little when it comes time to play the games. At the beginning of the season the PP was unbelievable. Things change. Over the last 10 games I believe we're converting at over 20%. That's just fine.

IMO our bigger problem is on the defensive side of the puck, and Souray just doesn't seem like he'd be the best option for help there. Then throw in the fact that he's a UFA who apparently wants to play on the west coast if he doesn't play in MTL and to me that says I don't trade for him unless he's had for a relatively nice package.
