Good enough topic for a GDT

No idea what is going to happen. Just have to hope for the best. All I know is that Hartley still was putting Mellanby on the PP in practice the other day...and that is a bad sign.

Mellanby is also the only one that sacrifice his own body in front to the net to screen the opponent goalie. Too bad no other Thrashers show as much determination as the Captain.

He is also one of the only Thrashers who can't convert when the puck is on his stick in front of an almost empty net.(like what just happened in Ottawa)

He is a solid grinder at this stage of his career, but he has cost us goals and wins this year with his inability to finish.

Mellanby misses another glorious chance in front.

We need to use Mellanby for screens, deflections and rebounds; nothing else. Who in their right mind wrote up a special play that had Kovalchuk, Kozlov and Hossa working the puck around until they can find an open Mellanby?

Once again, the team plays only the first nineteen minutes of a period.

Did anyone mention Kari's bad rebound?

Nice to see the team improving their chances of breaking the "most goals given up with under a minute left" record.

yeah guys we've almost come to expect the last minute GA...i thought they had it clear but a perfect pass on the rush up ice did us in again, Kari's rebound wasn't a big one, it just went right on the driving Schaffer's stick for the tap in

I missed most of the 1st, turned it on while they were showing the replay of Mac's goal.

Sucks we gave up that goal just before the end of the period .... but not surprising unfortunately.

Woot, Metro puts us back on top!

Hartley really needs to let Hedberg go, I think just handing Kari the starting job was a big mistake. He seems too comfortable, and why shouldn't he be? It's not like his job is in danger.

Another DW beauty.

I hope Belkin wins control of the team.
