Apparently the trip out west (long plane ride) set him back a bit.

Can I just say that Potvin's Cialis is working overtime for Horton. Horton chokes on a breakaway (natural goal scorer that he is), and Potvin's right there to pour more koolaid on how wonderful Horton is.

Well, well, well...nice to see an OT win.

And even nicer to see a goal by Horton to get that win.

Glad I was wrong on my Panther loss prediction tonight.

Yeah, and had we won half of those we lost we'd be in the middle of the hunt. At least we continue to beat the Lightning. Whose fans, btw, are fuming.

Oh please. It's called hockey. First rule of the game: keep your head up.

I don't think keeping your head up will help much at people taking cheap runs at your knees.. JMHO.

and I didn't see his head down.

Hmmm...bruised thigh....little too high for a knee injury. But yeah, keep your head up and you can avoid the hit.

Perhaps Tampa players should look in the mirror before they get high and mighty about alleged cheap shots. Bryan Allen is just a ball of fire out there. He totally rocks.

Maybe you should lecture your fellow bolt fans also about their desire for a cheap shot also?

Normally I would disagree with fans of physical play but since that guy went back to his forum and wanted to see cheap shot to Allen you should probably ignore him.

Didn't see this part of your post.

I'm pretty sure his head was down. Allen came skating in there pretty fast and Fedotenko didn't even see him coming. But then, I could be wrong.

Look, it's hockey. Guys are going to go down-Lord knows, our guys get hit all the time, and I (being a Panther fan) think the hit is 'cheap'. The ref obviously feels differently, as no call is ever made. You, being a Tampa fan, are obviously going to want a penalty for it. It's not your fault-it's the "new NHL" and the way they've softened the sport. You've come to expect that a hard hit will draw 2 minutes. Sometimes though, a rare thing of beauty happens, and there is no call made. You feel cheated--I get that (remember, I'm a Panther fan ). But in this particular case, from what I recall, the hit wasn't dirty. The guy was merely blind-sided.

It wasn't kneeing....in fact I think he brought his left leg up to avoid kneeing. If it was kneeing he would have kept his leg on the ice and stretched it out, not pulled it up.

Bottom line, Allen loves to hit. Fedotenko was skating east to west and not paying attention to him. Big mistake. He won't ever do it again.
