I need to get this game outta my mind. Tonights game will be on TV, so if youve got it, watch it.

Big game for the Pack as they are 3 points behind Providence with 2 games in hand for 2nd in the Atlantic.

i dunno, im not a new yorker ;-)

but for DirecTV guys like myself it is on. its in the 600's, if you have directv you need to order the sportspack, you can talk em into giving it to you for 2 bucks a month if youre current on your bill. its well worth it for non new yorkers like myself.

Nope, I'm pretty it's just Fox Sports New England.

Anyways, I was at the Pack game last night, they played very well and limited their penalties unlike the game last Saturday in Springfield. Limited Worcester to 15 shots. Important game and I can't wait to watch. Dale got into two fights last night, so I'm hoping for more!

Prediction: Montoya breaks a leg. Korpikoski breaks his neck. Dubinsky bust his knee cap. HFD looses 0-9.

Its 21 minutes to midnight here in Sweden. I am afraid to get a heartattack or stroke before that, or just get hit by lightning...

Isbister from Dawes and Baranka! 1-0 Pack

Dawes took a nice hit shot from the point, it fell down and Isbister puts it in.

Helminen! 2-0 Pack!

Moore with a great play behind the net to force a turnover and gets the assist.

LoL, there was a 2 on 2 and Dale knocked over Montoya and the Bruins player had pretty much an open net with Montoya down and out but thankfully Dale blocked the shot in the crease.

3-1 Now. Blast from the point. Montoya probably would want to have it back but you cant tell if hes being screened or not.

Dubinsky makes a great play to get by the defense and get a nice shot on net, then he got checked into the goalie and got a goalie interference penalty and everyone got into it. Taylor beat the crap out of someone.

Korpi almost scored a SH goal, I think byers blocked it though, then byers tried to shoot it into the entire open net and he fanned on it.

Period 1 over, Montoya has look good so far stopping 11 of 12.

Hartford absolutely dominated that period. could have been easily 6-0. Montoya shoulda had the goal, though it might have been screened, the angles they have dont really show it very well.

Dubinsky is a friggin monster. its like watching zdeno chara skating out there, i dont know why he looks so friggin huge, but its crazy how noticable he is.

Everytime I watch the the Pack i say the same thing. He just looks HUGE. The stat sheet has him at 6'1 - 210 but he looks like a 6'4 - 235 pound beast out there.

one thing is VERY obvious about the pack. they are very well coached. they skate back HARD, and you NEVER EVER see a guy cherry picking at the other teams blueline, youll always have 5 men below the center red line with at least 3 in their own zone supporting the puck. Its something you almost never see with the Rangers. These guys support the puck so well its not even funny. There are always at least 2 options open to any player carrying the puck, and they are always very obvious. The team is a joy to watch.

I have a theory. I wonder if next year, we don't see anyone come up from Hartford, and we see the influx of kids from juniors - the likes of Staal, Sauer, Dupont, Pyatt and Anisimov are added to Dubinsky, Korpikoski, Callahan, Byers and Baranka - who will get time with this crop so further chemistry builds. The basic core plays another year together, Jagr and his crew finish up one more year, and the wave of kids starts in summer 2008. If that happens, there's going to be another year of teeth-gnashing on HF.
