OOT Scoreboard

Should we even bother? Games to watch:

Minnesota @ St. Louis: 2-2
Vancouver @ Colorado

Go St. Louis and Vancouver?

We should still bother... Lowe is looking at getting Brewer back, and maybe we can sell one of Smith, Pisani(worst money oilers every spent), Lupul, Nedved, Torres

They'll be two pts back of us if they win. Looks like a no-win situation.

Nah, it's a win situation. We need to catch Minnesota, not worry about who's behind us. (For now.)

This season just won't die! Minnesota plays their 3rd game in 4 nights on Tuesday against Dallas, a win on Tuesday could very well leave us 6 points back with a game in hand.

What makes you think we can beat Ottawa who's on a 4 game winning streak AND have Minny lose at HOME to Dallas?

I like your optimism though (no sarcasm there).

Next two games on PPV.

Pretty much have to get 3 out of 4 points in the next 2 games against Ottawa/Columbus. I'm not that optimistic. Ottawa 7-2-1 in their last 10.

...but with the Oilers, you never know. Hope for a late season charge as usual.

i keep having this dream where we sell off a few guys like sykora and tjarnquist, and then go on a run and make the playoffs. Rollie gets hot, Lupul wakes up, Torres is a bull, ethan comes back, stoll + Pisani come back and we go on a roll.

The best part is, 2 of our last 3 games are vs the wild and that is the team we have to catch. We are 8 points out with a game in hand. Over the next 20 or so games, all we have to do is win tomorrow and then be 3 points better than them over that span.

How am i a troll?

I'm talking hockey with other Edmonton fans... It is nice to have a debate once in a while on teams, and HF would be pretty boring if everyone agreed on the same thing...

After this little gem, you have zero credibility.

Well Crosby in my mind is a better player than Gretzky, but another HF member made a good point and that you can't compare 2 generations to each other.... if you read the thread properly.... I'm talking about THIS YEAR and the playoffs, once again, and oiler fan brings up the past...?

You're trolling in an Out of Town scoreboard thread. Who brought up the past here?

You have made yourself look like a complete moron here, kiddo. I suggest cutting your losses, but, judging from your obvious astute observations so far, I'm asking too much.

a debate involves actually having something to argue about.

And the Bergeron trade is actually a bad one for the Canucks since we absolutely have roasted him this year.

Okay... anyyyyyways... Oilers need to make a deal for Defenseman if they think they have a shot at the playoffs, if not, the oilers might as well start selling and get some draft picks for players like Smyth and Torres..

Too late, bud. Even Canuck fans see through your schtick.

How about another thread about how hot Luongo's wife is. You're going to hurt yourself trying to bring anything meaningful to the board.
