The best line I heard about this was that Jacques had "committed" a music CD.

As a racer he still managed to Win the Indy 500 even if he did two more laps because of a penalty.

He's been Formula 1 world champion... why do people say he's not that good

I don't know. I think he's a very good driver, but he made terrible career moves. That destroyed his reputation, but he always had good results with what he had.

JV has been paid a ton of money. He is now a very rich man.
No income tax in Monaco, so it's a smart move to live there.
He would be worth 1/2 if he would declare he lives in Quebec.
With his wealth it's your accountant that tells you where you live.
All this and great weather in Monaco.
His estate keeps going up in value as Monaco is a HOT SPOT for the rich and famous.

I don't blame him one darn bit.

I have always been and continue to be a fan of Jaques, even if I do wish he would just shut his mouth sometimes. He's a Canadian F1 champ and those do not come along every day.

...The guy chose to live in montreal (at least he's been here for at least the last year, He bought a 3 million dollar home in westmount) I can appreciate that. He could be living in Monaco or NY.

Anyway...I kinda heard a couple of sound bites from his music and I can say I've heard worst before. His voice kinda reminds me of REM.

He's apparently VERY good friends with Patrice Brisebois... I'm pretty sure that counts as almost the same thing.

It's a cheap one. The guy owns a house in Montreal, put up some activities here and there (Tremblant) and spend around half of the year here. He grew up in Swiss but still choose to come back here. But the guy has an accent so he's not a good quebecer. I know it's a joke but I find those things silly.

Meanwhile, Celine Dion is ''la petite fille de chez nous''...

That's f***ng bulls***
