Trade Proposals, Rumors, Injuries, Pool Questions

To Ottawa: Cammalleri, Garon

To Los Angeles :Gerber, Vermette, 1st round pick

What do you think. Cammalleri plays really good wih corvo, infact almost all corvos goals last year was assisted by Mike cammalleri and also free's some cap space.

I meaNT GARON

Hell no! Cammelleri's great, but not even close to worth Gerber, Vermette and a 1st rounder. No point in even mentioning the Cloutier part of the equation.

That is a terrible trade. Cloutier is worse then Gerber and we are giving a 2nd line center and a 1st round pick for him.

Doubt that you are a Senators fan. The low amount of posts and the bolded part of your post gives me this impression.

Can we just go after Cammelleri? I think he's an upgrade over Vermette at center, but he can play wing too and might look good with Spezza and Heatley.

You want Cloutier? The worst goaltender in the league statistically and he is now had his yearly injury.

I agree. He would be pretty good filling in there. Gives 3 scoers on that line. Kelly is nice, but who are we kidding when he is out of his element playing there.

I prefer a NHL07 type trade where we let go of noone useful and we get a huge star in the end.

I've said it before, I'll say it again.

Everytime someone makes a proposal to trade Patrick Eaves, I go on a killing rampage on a random video game.

Please.... THINK OF THE SPRITES!

Hmm...Emery seems to have taken the starting job, and while Gerber may be a more expensive back up then Bryzgalov, it's not worth giving up Eaves + for....Sens lose this one big time.

We have Emery who is doing a good job as a number 1 so brygalov is not needed. I'd rather give Gerber time to rebound and he can be a good backup to decent starter and if he needs to be moved to clear cap space that can happen in the off season.

Also Eaves is awesome. He will be a 30-35 goal scoring two-way winger that will be relied upon in all situations. I would rather have him then Bryzgalov.

I meant for emery to be the back up and Ilya Bryzgalov.to be the number 1 , also if the ducks maybe throw in a decent forward, emery is a good back up goalie pribably 1 of the best but to me not a number 1 goalie esspecially come play off time, Plus eaves has only had 5 goals so far and we are like 35 games in the season.

Well Emery had a bad Buffalo series last year but I was completely wrong about his abilities. He was over worked to end the season last year with the Hasek injury and as a rookie he was bad against Buffalo.

This year Emery is 12-7 with a .920sv% and is a huge reason the Sens are a .500 team. He has earned the right to be number one and will not be regulated to backup.

Why do you think Bryzgalov is worth so much? Roloson, who if you're comparing play off stats, did muhc better then Byzgalov, went for a 1st rounder, you expect Bryz to bring back a cup winning goalie (Ok, so he wasn;t the started, and he hasn't been the same since he got sick), a very nice prospect in Eaves, and a decent 4-5 guy in Priessing?

I dont understand how did Cam Ward do it last year and Emery couldnt? even emery play more regular season games than ward did and he still did not get the job done.

Ward got on a hot streak, he was amazing in the playoffs, minus a few games. Different goalies handle the pressure of the playoffs better, I think it got to Emery, as the team was expected to win it, Carolina was not picked as the favorite, so there wasn't as much pressure on Ward.

The reason Ottawa was/ius interested in Conroy was to play with Alfie, so no thanks.
