What was the D for that game in SJ?

I think it was:
Hejda - Smith
Bergeron - Greene
Gilbert - Roy

At least tonight we have Staios in for Bergeron.

With that defense against Ottawa, the only way you win is if your goalie stands on his head.

Shots will be like 35-20

Hope the Oilers keep it entertaining though as I like watching them skate.

As much as it kills me not to watch, the Oilers record when I order PPV is abysmal. So I will listen online and pray.

What he said.

Then again I don't feel like spending 12 bucks.

I'm nowhere near as confident as you. If Gerber gives up a couple of bad goals early, you can say bye to the 2pts for Ottawa. The likelihood of that happening is pretty good imo.

I dunno, Horcoff and friends do like to aim for the logo 9 times out of 10, so chances are Gerber's pretty safe. It's 2 points in the bank, count on it.

Or Gilbert even (I would like to keep him of course but we will see), if it was a deal for a signed vet (packaged with a forward or whatever) I could see it especially with another young guy (Grebs + Chorney possibly only a year away) guaranteed to be on a one way contract.

It Toby ****ing Petersen in the Pressbox??

That would be amazing.

I'm also excited about the Torres - Pouliot - Lupul line, yeah babies.

My predicting, Oilers 5 Ottawa 2

Pouliot, Gilbert, Winchester, Smyth, Smid

Eaves, Spezza

We beat San Jose earlier in the year with if you believe it a worse defense, so maybe you shouldn't be such a cocky **** in an Oilers GDT eh.

Nah, sorry JJ, it seems TP is still in the line-up......Atleast he is good defensively???

We'll need to play Trap IMO to win, this is ridiculous, come on K-Lowe get a trade going already!!!

In other news... OOF wont be here with us tonight, he's at the game.....

I feel so very very bad for Sykora, centering Thoresen and Petersen, I guess Mac-T is really pissed at him

I am really happy to hear that Murry next win will be his 600th. We always show up and shut the other team down on these historic games.

Oh well there goes another 12 bucks down the *******.

as long as they put lupul with torres and pouliot they will win guaranteed - that line would be just fine as our 2nd line and once we get moreau - stoll - pisani back we will be a contender...

I like that idea of that, then Stortini - Reasoner - Sykora for the fourth line?

Smyth - Horcoff - Hemsky
Torres - Pouliot - Lupul
Moreau - Stoll - Pisani
Stortini - Reasoner - Sykora

Damn do those lines ever look good.

Jussi's rebound control looks really suspect tonight. That said, our D have had very active sticks so far, which is nice (refreshing?).

"winchester comes all the way back to stop his man from taking a shot" he says.......

Does anyone else not miss MAB right now?

And why isn't Stortini playing when the Sens have Neil - the player with the most hits in the league?
