I know we have had our share of heartbreakers in the post season, but i think this year could be different. Most people would laugh at our playoff chances after losing Chara and Havlat, but we did pick up "playoff type" players such as McAmmond, Preissing and Comrie. And maybe the fact that we arent expected to go far in the playoffs take the pressure off us that has drowned us in previous years. What do you think we will do in the playoffs this year?
If we have to face New Jersey in the East and get through them we'll have a decent shot at going all the way. I'm not all that concerned about Buffalo,Atlanta,Pittsburgh,or Tampa Bay who are sneaking up there.
Oh I'm fully aware of the Parade Thread since I was already tossed into the volcano (by the true parade planner, the banana) for a similar post. You will notice I said "we'll have a decent shot" and not we'll win for sure and have parades all over the place. Around here though you are guilty if even suggesting there might be the slightest chance of winning. Well, except for a lot of others that is.
