Upcoming HF interview with....

.... Canucks prospect Tim Smith.

Hi! I'm the Oilers writer for HF but because there isn't a Canucks writer at the moment I have been asked to handle an upcoming interview with one of your teams up and comers.

If you come by the Oiler boards ever you may have seen me asking the readership to submit questions they would like asked of players I am about to interview. Because I quite honestly know next to nothing about this particular player, I'm hoping to get lots of input from you Vancouver fans.

Please keep your questions pertinent to this player. I can come up with the generic ones myself but I'm hoping you guys can come up with the ones that really matter for Tim Smith. The only other things I won't talk about are contract$ and any rumors that might make the player look bad.

Other than that, let me have them!

What are his thoughts on the ECHL coming to Victoria/Canada? and what would he think of the possibility of Victoria becoming the new Canucks ECHL affiliate?

Was he upset about seeing fellow prospects Brandon Nolan, Jesse Schultz, and Alexandre Burrows being called up before him?

Ask him, "Being one of the top scorers on the Inferno, why haven't you seen as much ice or if any with the Moose?"

Last bump for this thread. Come on 'Nucks fan... only three people have posted questions for this prospect. I'm sure you guys can do better than that!

I'm calling the team later today.

Who has been your best influence on your hockey career thus far?

When you were growing up, did you have a backyard rink?

Since arriving in Columbia, what has been your best, or most eye-opening experience as a player?

What was the most important lesson anyone has taught you about hockey?

Of all the linemates you've ever had, who have you enjoyed playing with the most?

What are some of the things players do after games in Columbia? Is there any particular spot you gather at after games?

Because you play in a place that is rather new to hockey, do players have anonymity, or are you looked upon as local heroes?
