I hate to break it to you... but CPP is going to be long dead and gone by then... all the baby boomers will be cashing in, and the outgoing money will greatly exceed the incoming money...

On the bright side, scientists are working on a giant asteroid vacuum/funnel, and plan to point it directly at Calgary. The problem is, it keeps getting plugged with sheep hair.

Wow... that was about the funniest thing I've come across in weeks...

that was awesome...

I agree by then it may just be free cup of coffee each month but I will take what I can get.

Wouldn't it be fun if the asteroid hit the Earth and you stood there all smiles having scored some big money? Everyone would mutter "*** is he so happy about?"

Maybe we'll get lucky and it will hit the Saddledome while the Flames and Canucks are playing. Or even better, hit the AirCanada Centre with the Leafs leading 4-0 in the third period of the seventh game of the 2036 Stanley Cup Final.

No need to worry. Igor Ulanov will go down face-first and block the asteroid from hitting the earth.

The atheists might point out there is no god in a hugh lifeless crater. But then again add a little primordial soup and some some Dark Matter anomaly and a few hundred thousand years and you have a re-creator event.

Mind you a new breed of creationists would arise, and would again ape and short circuit the science and faithfully ordinate a heretical theology. The rise on the Ape Head would naturally follow. A disaffected chimp splinter group would discover proof of a previous civilization given hieratical discovery of strange glyphs eerily emanating from ancient communication devices.

As a result a new cult of the H F B o@rds would arise. To dissuade belief in this new Evangelical movement, believers would have their dimwitted hairless sub-species of Hues and their Manes (the Hues smaller weaker male mates) confiscated. These believers would be publicly Comried and shunned. Only the worst (those found to be criminally insane) would be Prongered (rendered sterile).

The prime directive amongst the Ringette of the Hairy: Only in the Sacrate Arena of the StickRock, only therein could scores be settled - if even onto dire injury and death itself. As unrest accelerated disgusting "HueMane" like violence did continue to arise amoungst the common apetitude.

Seeing the rapid decline of his fellow chosen primates, one grizzled old silverback (long retired from the arena of the StickRock) came forth to rally the disaffected hordes. APYLer chose to grunt and chirp amidst the apetitude. He reworked some ancient glyphs and a new StickRock Battle Brae bellow was chested:
Hey, hey we're the Monkees, and
don't you ever let it get you down!
Unfortunately, the wise old gorilla was publicly scorned and fell from favour when it was learned he had renounced the one true faith of the KLowe and the creed of the MacT. Shortly after his silverback was scorched at the 'pole of the totem,' the Chimps subsequently proved that the one true faith of the KLowe and the creed of the MacT were born of the glyphs of those ancient and disgusting HueManes and APYLer was again revered.

Don't wanna close my eyes
Don't wanna fall asleep
'Cause I'd miss you, baby
And I don't wanna miss a thing
'Cause even when I dream of you
The sweetest dream would never do
'Cause I'd still miss you, baby
And I don't wanna miss a thing

Interesting video.... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oB3G0rvCIJc

That video there is somewhat misinterpreted. It's what's thought would happen in Calgary when Kipper reportedly leaves for financial gain. Has nothing to do with asteroids.

That's a huge-*** asteroid. I'd be more worried about a slightly smaller one NOT destroying everything on Earth but leaving the atmosphere inpenetrable to sunlight for a sustained period of time.
