Another OT loss.

In other news, Ottawa and Buffalo had a GREAT fight tonight! How Bettman can watch the reactions of the fans to this fight, and come away thinking fighting doesn't belong in hockey is beyond me. But that's for another thread I guess.

Not really. Jokinen's play has not been sitting well with me in the past few weeks. Injury or not, his passes are poor, his shots are weak, and a lot of things are wrong.

In other news, Van Ryn and Montador made a few poor defensive plays (giveaways, and anyone remember #7 falling right in front of our own net with the puck?)

After we play well for a game or two, we play bad. After we play bad for a game or two, we play very well. It's a never ending cycle and it's the same thing every time.

If I remember correctly, he is having problems with his abdominal muscles which would explain weak shots...poor passes. He probably should get the surgery.

I agree 100%! Everyone enjoys that aspect of the game, especially when it's 2 goalies. Then Emery took on Peters.

I seem to recall Jokinen saying that he had seen several doctors, but noone could pinpoint the cause of his symptoms.

You only copied and pasting the links in your other post. The link was too long so it replaced part of it with three dots, and therefore the URL wasn't complete.

When copying links, you should right click the link and go to "copy link location" and then paste it. Then it will get the full real link.

Pathetic, absolutely pathetic. Only 1 goal on Thibault. Are you kidding me?

I hope scouts were watching Belfour tonight. He would be a solid addition to any team making a playoff run. He was absolutely sensational and kept us in the game. The season is a wash now, officially IMO, since we're 10 points out. It's time to gear up for next season...boy that sounds familiar.

Another disappointing loss in OT, but I think the Panthers were lucky to get 1 point tonight against a much better Pens team.

See, I disagree. That 1 point is killing our draft position. This team is so bad we can't even lose correctly. If were gonna lose, lets lose in regulation guys.

i agree. he's embarrassing himself out there. he's adding absolutely nothing to team right now (well, except, ironically, he seems to be doing better at faceoffs). some may point out that he's sucking it up for the team but we've all known the playoffs are out of reach for weeks now. i think he's being selfish and trying to make it through the rest of the season so he can take the franchise's "most consecutive games played" record.

Belfour was excellent last night, but once again the penalties and lack of finishing did them in. Overtime is not kind.

Btw, I likely won't be able to put up a GDT for Saturday's Boston game. Going home, possibly to the game. That game won't be broadcast on FSN.

I think since the Boston Bruins hold such a special place in his heart, EE should start that GDT.
