Dan Tencer reports that he will not travel with the team to Detriot and he will stay behind in CB for further observations..

Tencer says he's staying in Columbus overnight for observation. Not going to Detroit.

Edit: D'oh. Beat.

The last word was the Tjarnqvist would be ready by tomorrow but this seems to change daily so who knows?

...and if Shaggy isn't available then you would think that Greene gets in instead of Syvret or Young.

Too bad for Gilbert. Gets the call up, looks to have a chance to play some games and scores his first goal in the dying seconds to tie a game...then gets lit up and put out of the line-up.

Almost as bad as getting mono before going on a run to the Stanley Cup Finals .

Yeah, it was a borderline play, but when you get in the trolly tracks like Gilbert did (being stirred into it no less by Carter I think) bad things usually happen

I didn't see an issue with the hit. I'll have to check the replays again but I thought the hit was clean.

If Shaggy takes his place, please keep him on 5/6 pairing. I'd much rather prefer to keep Hejda with Smith, he's been solid.

Why has Greene been sat the past few games? Is he hitting the Sophmore Wall?

Dirty play by Shelley. Too many players getting hit high IMO by fringe players
