All gold jerseys are awesome. Favorite jersey ever.
I was thinking about it last night, what was "off" about the penguins new jersey. And this post cleared it right up. Its missing the yellow and i never realized it. I have my old '91 66 jersey and the bright yellow is definitley missing. THEY NEED TO BRING THAT BACK.
The old blues aren't that bad. I think a retro night would be cool with those blue ones.
Paul Lukas of ESPN.com's Uni Watch wrote an article in the Nov. '04 issue of GQ where he rated the 20 best pro sports uniforms ever. Three hockey unis made the list: the Blackhawks at #16, the Canadiens at #6, and the 1977-80 Penguins at #4. So, marillion-fan, you're not alone.
I don't understand the dislike for the Coyotes' old logo; I thought it was pretty creative. I think they should combine that logo with the current unis:
Here's another concept, this one for the Minnesota Wild:
Here's two more for cities that don't have teams yet, Seattle and Las Vegas:
That Wild jersey is the best concept I ever saw, period! It's very nice looking, too. What happened to this one? The proposed one for the Caps was pretty, too.
For real jersey... +1 for the Nords. Either of them. Awesome.
The one I always thought of the worst was the old, red jersey of the Caps, and the Capitain Highliner version of the Isles.
I really like some of the old school Senators jerseys (the striped ones in this pic). I would love for a hockey team to be brave enough to try that striped "soccer style" jersey again. It would be cool if the Sens brought those jerseys back as thirds.
