I'll be heading out early to get parking before traffic implodes in all directions from the World Congress Center and Georgia Dome. I got a good feeling Kari is going to shut them out and Belanger is going to be on fire!
Our leaders need to step up, both on and off ice leaders. Hartley has to not coach us out of the game, and Kari has to have his head in the game. So basically if we play like we did circa November, look out.
FYI - All those out-of-staters, the game is streaming live on Yahoo! Sports.....
ty, the audio feed just wasnt doing it. It seems Boulton has really turned it up offensively lately, any reason for the start of decent play from this guy?
Man, McCarthy and Kovalchuk do not work this season at the point...
The team seems to be rushing way too much, McCarthy rushed a shot (for seemingly no reason) and hit it flesh into the defender,... and they had JUST set it up cleanly.....
They might be blocking you out I think I remember seeing "Broadcasts US only" somewhere on there... damn. Maybe you can use a proxy site through there..

I think he already has. He scratched Metro the only semi-offensively capable center we have.
This team defense is ****ing atrocious. Worst first-pass in the league, no confidence handling the puck or passing. The team can't even get anything going, I can't even tell what system Hartley is using because Atlanta has no puck-posession at all this game.
Sutton just loses the puck on a routine skate out, Havelid has no confidence right now... all passes are not hitting their target to the forwards..
We've got more offense from Boulton than the other lines combined. Nothing is clicking... It looks like theres a bunch of players playing for themselves and not as a cohensive unit. Although Kovalchuk's showing a lot of energy, he's sitting up by the top of the blue line, not helping out, it seems whenever his line is on they get stuck in their own zone. The team has won more faceoffs in this game and has had absolutely no puck-posession... just unbelievablely frustrating..
By far one of the sloppiest games of the season, the effort going on out there is completely pathetic. Getting pretty quiet in Blueland tonight, aside from the boo's, and the sound of us choking.
It better be a solid defender or a #1 (or #2) center........or an announcement that all of Hartley's assistants are gone. Maybe they can get some guys who can coach a PP properly.
2. Slater and Sim have no business even being on the ice at the same time as Kovalchuk, and Ilya knows it. He simply gave up attempting to pass it to them after the 1st, and I don't blame him since all they would do was turn the puck over. At one point in the 3rd he kept the puck circled around, and then attempted to knock it in off one of their own skates in the goal.
3. After the first goal the team just sat in their own zone feeling sorry for themselves.
4. This losing in front of sellouts nonsense has got to end.
