yeah i agree - I now dont think we will be bring in any big names after hearing GMGM today. We will just continue to rebuild and save money.

Caps losing 2-1, Zajac scored. Looking at the devils and their college kids for some reason makes me hopeful for our college kids. Yay prospects!

2questions:
1) How is Flash looking playing RW?
2) How long has Brash been playing on Ovie's line this game?

I've seen one or two shifts from Flash that I thought were his best in the NHL...today.

Brash has laid some nice hits, but he's obviously a placeholder.

He was in the box, no?

Although upon further review of message b oards, it seems like it was a bad call by the refs. I'm listening to 980, no tv coverage here

Bad call yeah...they happen...oh well.....the goal was flukey. Picture Flash's goal from yesterday from the high slot. Wrister that deflected and floated above crossbar level and came down behind BJ.

Flukey, eh? Thats a little different. I didn;t get the impression from Kolbe that it was flukey.

The OBs are screaming that Pothier got the puck first and thus there shouldn;t have been a penalty.

Don't get me started on Steve "I should have stuck with my pro wrestling radio show on WTEM" Kolbe. He sucks more than a hoover.

Must've been something, I was looking for him constantly for the last 10 minutes of the game and didn't see him once.

Judge for yourself. Two shifts after our last goal, including being on the ice for the 3rd Devils goal and one very brief (VERY) shift later on.

thanks...I checked ESPN's play by play and the last thing they have Semin doing is blocking a shot, maybe that has something to do with it...but ESPN is questionable at best when it comes to that kind of stuff

I've never seen a shift chart like that, weird
