i thought Bergeron picked up a day to day injury in the last game, perhaps he hasnt recovered

Is York playing?

THUMBS DOWN

- First it was the fractured bone in his right wrist, which was followed by surgery, then rehab. Now Oilers centre Mike York has found himself healing wounds on his right hand because of a number of slashes.

It happened again on Wednesday, when Carolina Hurricanes centre Josef Vasicek slashed York in the third period. Vasicek served a two-minute penalty and York later wrapped his bruised right thumb in ice.

"It's been three or four times -- at least," York said. "And I've never been hit there that much in my life."

I think it's because he'll be needed to back up the "turd" line; let's hope he doesn't take a dumb "turd man in" penalty!!

Sorry, couldn't resist.

Too bad Conklin isn't hot right now, and the pk is as brutal as ever.

im watching this game on ESPN... the penatly Horcoff took.. which led to the predictable PP goal by SJ.. lets just say im really going to start cheering against him now. about the only thing he didnt do to the SJ player which would have made it more blatant and noticable is hit him repeatedly in the face with his stick.........

so york is out day-to-day with his wrist?

and i would also like to mention that i too think its another typically stupid macT decision to play fergy over MAB..... up to this year i have been a pretty big supporter of macT, but he has made sooooo many TERRIBLE decisions this year (smyth at C, MAB and semenov sitting instead of fergy, horcoff playing as often as he does, the worst possible people playing on the PP) that im really starting to lean towards the "fire macT" camp

1-0 Sharks marleu on PP. Conklin seems to give up a rebound on almost every shot very frustrating to watch. Thought Oilers were skating pretty well untill that goal, hopefully they can rebound.

Edit 1-1
Jason Smith on a weak one, Nabakov should of had it buit we'll take it. Izzy won the draw clean back nice to see him get a pt early in return back to line up, hopefully it gives him some confidence.

Apparantly, Bergeron was having a tough time (skating gingerly) the last game. They could be just playing it safe.
