Oates had 2 assists until they changed that Horcoff goal the other day to Stoll.

When a guy misses the time he has, and was not skating in the mean time, it's going to take a while before he gets back into things. Personally, I wouldn't be surprised if we have to wait until the 2nd half of the year before he starts producing at full capacity. That sucks, but it's reality. Atleast he's winning faceoffs .

it *really* seems like they could have won this game pretty easily.... when your on a slump, you just dont get any bounces or breaks

regardless of what happens in OT i think conks should start again next game.... he sounds like he played a pretty good game and his stats certainly show this

Yeah, I'm not sure why people were complaining about Salo not being there. He's played poorly for almost a year and a half now, he isn't going to suddenly return as a top level goalie. Don't worry, there's an excess of goaltenders around. If there's one are that's easy to address in today's NHL, it's shoddy goaltending.

MeGeough is a disgrace. Rathje tackled an Oiler up above the circles, and that didn't get called...geez.

The Oilers should have won that one. Better than losing I guess.

2-2 tie. Another bad result IMO. You have to win games like these. The Sharks are a bottom feeding team that the Oilers need to win. This season is starting to slip away, the team is in a stretch of game - starting with the San Jose loss the last time they met - that they should be taking advantage of. So far games against San Jose, Minny, Pittsburgh, Carolina, and San Jose again and their record is 1-3-1. Not going to cut it especially with 4 of those on home ice. The downhill slide continues. More "we played better than the score indicated" talk on the post game show now.

To me Salo has to start Tomorrow. They travel to Pheonix and the game is an hour earlier. With a healthy Salo there is no sence playing Conklin back to back after an OT game in San Jose.

The Oilers can't beat the teams they should beat, and get awfully embarassed by teams they should be competitive with. That many shots and 2 goals? Where is that Doug Weight speech when you need it?

The Sharks are a bottom feeder and we definetely should have won, and I hope this trend of "losing/tying games we should have won" doesn't continue so we don't become a bottom-feeder.

At least Hemsky is looking really good right now. Ethan Moreau sounded stellar, he plays with so much heart you gotta love the guy.

I'm worried about the next game. Langkow was a huge Oilkiller last year. 7 of his 20 goals.....jeez!
