Trade Deadline - Trades around the NHL

Please post any deadline trades around here. If they don't involve the Oilers, they don't get a new topic.

Shaggy's injury really hurts his value, I doubt anyone would give up anything significant for him considering the gamble.

Yeah, I have to change my opinion now. If Zednik got a 2nd...

Great trade as long as Smoke doesn't cut into BMo's minutes. BMo is playing GREAT right now

I'm serious, it's a great trade as long as Smolinski doesn't cut into Morrison's minutes. A perfectly reasonable commentary.

Got the update on my phone, then they retracted saying that Van was closing in on Smolinski, but to disregard the first alert about the deal being done.

Do you think he is strong at both ends of the ice?

Oh good! Nonis would be an idiot not to let one of Chouinard or Santala work out of their funks.

Do they charge you for the mistake messages too? I do not even have a cell phone so I am clueless as to how that works.

Your wireless provider might, but they do not.

With the two worst offenders (Eklund and Sportsnet) when it comes to "report it first, worry about accuracy later" reporting joining forces, this is gonna be a LONG 21+ hours.

Yeah really. I have to think they are wrong about what Van gave up if Zednik gets a 2nd rounder you have to think Smolinski can get a first or a 2nd and a prospect. If there is a trade at all. If it is only a 2nd the Hawks are not playing the market very smartly or the buyers are drying up quick.

Dawgbore, do you use it? Are you sure Sportsnet doesn't charge for their text alerts?

Their website says:
Q: Is there a charge for the alerts?
A: Yes - 15 cents per alert received will be charged.

Hmmm... It is probably something simple like nursing his wonky knee was it? That is one guy I am fairly sure is not going anywhere unless it was some kind of blockbuster.

Maybe Sportsnet and Eklund are splitting the proceeds, throw out some bogus ones and then retract we will get rich ah ah ah. *joking*

Dawgbore? At first I thought it was a typo, then I looked down on my keyboard and realized 'r' is no where near 'n'.
